After a number of years being with Charter Cable Internet I was never able to recieve an email response notification when I had posted something to these forums and no-one could tell me why.

Well today I did recieve one, just out of the blue. It really felt great!

Not going to ask how or why but just be greatful. Amazing how a little thing can be so pleasing. Hope it keeps working.

Thanks,
Kevin aka bonz_dragon

Your spam filter probably thought notices were not on the up-and-up. Did you change settings for the mail source? Most ISPs have a "pre-invite" method in which you send an Email notice to the source, and it will verify the address as trusted.

Because when I first started having the problem a number of years ago, March 2004 no-one was able get it to work after I posted the problem here.
Even after you yourself Toby verified that you were able to send me emails.

So I suppose this was just to post that a problem has been fixed. No matter how it was done. And I truely am happy to have this feature again!

It probably works now due to the revamp of the site.

Again, for whatever reason I'm just glad it works and I'm sure I'll be more active in this group of forums because of it.
