I have started to randomly recieve this error. Sometimes it occours when I am posting other times when I am viewing a board:

"Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /forums/viewforum.php on this server."

How can I stop this from happening?

Well since I cleared it I haven't had the problem again. The pages on this site seem to be taking a long time to load now though. I am getting several This page can not be displayed screens too.

Depends on what browser you're using. Usually under the browser's options.

Since yesterday at 8 PM (MST) I was unable to get on the forums. I got an error that asid PHPbb critical error unable to connect to server. The main page here was also messed up. All of the ads worked but other than that there was just the word test...

The db server occasionally blocks connections from out web server due to a combo of not-so-spectacular coding and ad-tracking software that uses a separate connection. I will be moving some of the activity to the local db on the web server to reduce traffic between the two and hopefully stop this from happening.

Whenever something like this happens it is most helpful if you can email me error messages and such. Sometimes I am not at my workstation so it's also helpful to get a phone call from one of the mods.

Thanks!
