Here's another cooling idea I did for my Cooler Master rig to help with the airflow inside the case. With the fron of the case being 100% mesh, this really helped out alot with air flow around the ram/CPU area as I'm water cooling and without the CPU fan, a little extra air flow helps keep the ram cool.

I did the same with my old case and it really does help with temps, but the dust builds up really quick! New case means I can't because there's a 5" LCD in the way, so I'm thinking of a 120mm blow-hole in the top _________________

A top blowhole is about the best cooling mod anyone can make to their case. That's where all the war/hot air builds up............. |

Another fine mod! And great attention to the details IE: the cuts to make room for the screws/tabs for your front case panel. _________________ "Who's doing what now?" |

What kind of screws did you use to hold the bracket on the case? They look like motherboard screws to me. I took all the metal brackets off from the inside of the front panel and wanted to screw one or two back on to hold some fans but none of the screws that came with my Centurion 532 fits. They are either too big or too small.

I just used standard coarse thread case panel screws like the ones you use for your PCI slot covers.
You might have to use a bit of pressure to get them to start, but mine went ok. |

Sweet thx. Do they stay nice and secure? I must say I like all your mods from your custom ram cooler to your water box. Again great work sbrehm72255 _________________ Guns don't kill people, Chuck Norris kills people! |

| The ones in my case tightened up very nicely. I've never had a problem with them coming loose. |

Hmm, those holes look like fan screw holes. Try using some 10-24 threaded bolts on them - i use metric hex ones to tie my roof fan in
Don't mind the shoddy hole, the case came with it. I'll soon be re-doing that area with an 1/2" Acrylic Top plate. |
