When replying the advert is taking over the main window focus so I have to do an extra click before I can start typing. This is annoying to say the least...

Same here.. when you select the "reply" box start point, and type one letter, the cursor is gone! You have to reselect.
nothing wrong with the ad header, but it is "refreshing" the entire screen, not its own field. Note your print cursor.. it blinks continuously, with each refresh.

Just as suddenly as it occurred, the "bug" is gone!

I thought it was just me - which is why I didn't bother querying. Didn't get the advert 'cos of the pop-up blocker - but I do find that sometimes I put the cursor in the box, start typing - and the cursor isn't there anymore.
Will see how it goes today.

Thanks, that got fixed quick. Always was having to do the extra click, but not anymore. Always cursed not having the curser, but no more. :D

Still happening, but I wait for a second or two, after the screen loads.. then locate the cursor for the typing to begin. May be that the entire page is refreshed. It is habit to immediately move the cursor away from the typing area, so you are not "shadowed" by the cursor I-beam. EAsy work-around condition. Only a "tiny" bug!
NewEgg just has to supply more "deals" on a daily basis.. to be interesting and draw purchasers. I'll always consider NewEgg for purchases, before other sites.
