Version 1.6.02 Now works with FireFox 3.5*Note The date should still say 2007 when it was last updated, just ignore...

Motherboards.org Navigator(mbnavi) extension for Firefox is now hosted on Mozilla's website.

MBnavi menubar can access Motherboard.org's site and sections and tools directly from a navigation menu built into the browser without the need for bookmarks or typing in the address.

Works on all current versions of Firefox including 3.5*

Features;
- AutoUpdate
- Simple Installation
- Small file (35kb)
- Easy access to motherboards.org from any site without typing or looking through bookmarks
- Includes all forum sections
- Links to folding@home stats included
- Customizable per request (just ask!)
- Easy access shortcut keys
- Bug support/submission

Once you install the extension from [url=https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2000/[/url]
FireFox will notify you of updates periodically.
You can also go to Tools > Extensions > Find Updates and if an updated version is available it will inform you, so no need for manually installing!

If you use this extension (or any other) please feel free to rate it.
https://addons.mozilla.org/addcomment.p ... pp=firefox

Since it was listed at mozilla.org extension page late last night it has been downloaded 273 times with no promotions.

For previous users that installed from this previous thread
Installing from addons.mozilla.org is simple as clicking on the file and you will then have use of the update feature.
Anyone that used the manual install method or any version prior to version 1.5.03 I suggest you uninstall the old extension (Tools > Extensions, highlight and click uninstall) , shutdown Firefox and reinstall from here
This was asked because my batch file to package the extension included some duplicate files and some minor fixes.

Homepage
http://www.angelfire.com/ex/kltsin/ffext/ffext.html
There you will find all info about the motherboards.org forums navigator including info on how it was made, version history, notes etc.
The extension is available from there but has no autoupdate or simple install routine so I suggest you use mozillas for ease of use.

This thread will be the main source of info and help on mbnavi and include all pertinent info from the home page.

As always any suggestion to improve it is highly appreciated.
(Note this page will change as needed, i.e.- works with different versions, screenshots etc.)

I noticed mozilla changed the links so I am updating them to link properly.

TY for the sticky and the compliment.

Reviewing my initial post in this thread and noticed the links to the extension at Mozilla.org were linked to the preview section.
I have since fixed the links so it goes to the main page where you can download/preview/rate etc..
Hope I didn't confuse anyone....

Tip of the Day
Middle click on a link to open in a new Firefox Window/Tab.

Woohoo! Didn't know that. I've just been right clicking and selecting the right option. Thanks!

9 days since it was released on mozillas site and 820 downloads so far.

Not bad.

I am going to do a minor update to the links section in next ten minutes or so.

I almost forgot...
Each time I update the extension it has to be reviewed by mozilla peeps before they will post the update.
This may take 10 minutes or much, much longer.
