I have a motherboard out of a Toshiba V3100, w/Celeron 500, two(2) 168 DIMM, 3 PCI, 1 AGP, 1 TV/DFP(?), no NIC, onboard Video, ATX, Intel 810 chipset, AMI Bios

Numbers at the top of the mobo are:
REV: B02
ID: M00003828070D0E

On the front edge number read: 9N603902492 Ver B02
On the back, top edge: M-Ying.M-V0 E150630 94V-0
Underneath those are: 9936

Bottom front edge: KL001110DG
P/N: 20910-001
PWB REV:B01
Made in Taiwan

My problem is that the video does not work, and I can not get Toshiba to support me, because I am not registered with them. All I want to do is install a video card, install an OS and take the card out. The machine will run on its own after that as a firewall/router.

More Help Please

Postby Joseph Martinez » Wed Jan 04, 2006 10:11 pm

Thank you both for your help. I finally got the time to work on the box and got it up running great.

But now I am having to trouble removing the keyboard. I can not find in the BIOS, an option to disable the error or to continue to boot w/o the keyboard. After reading the manual, I did find some jumpers for the keyboard,(section 3.1, page 15) but I can not figure out how to disable the keyboard, the link: http://www.bcmcom.com/tech/IN810P/IN810Pman.PDF

Any way to disable the keyboard?

In the main bios screen there should be an option to Halt On All Errors which then can be set to All, but keyboard. Not entirely sure where it should be, it's usually on the same screen as where you set your harddrives.

I thought that also, but I can not find that option. I do have the option to enable a USB KB, but it still errors.

Argh, I fear they have removed the option from the OEM version. I fear there's nothing we can do for now. I hope someone can cook up a keyboard emulator plug or something...
