I prefer raw coding versus WYSIWYG editors. But if you are going to go with a WYSIWYG editor I would choose Dreamweaver or something else... Front Page seems to bloat code a lot...

It's nice for basic things (which are the only things I have ever done with HTML). Not sure how it copes with complex stuff, but there is a certain advantage of being part of the Office suite and all. Integration might be simpler.

It's generally hated by those that know (ie not me) - if you have to buy something, it's a poor choice next to Dreamweaver but if you have it as part of Office you might as well try it.

trust me...once you go to dreamweaver, you'll abhor frontpage.

it's "bulky" and difficult to manage. dreamweaver has so much fun stuff built right into it, and has a lot of "freedom" with what you can do easily.

frontpage is pretty powerful, but you almost need to take an entire years worth of classes to get to the really cool things. dreamweaver is almost retarded-monkey-proofed. it's more intuitive, IMHO.

i think you'll like dreamweaver...

it gets even more fun with the ease of embedding flash and such...

Personally, I think it's only good for playing with page layout when first making a webpage.

As far as anything dynamic, asp, etc. I wouldnt touch it.
I prefer interdev.
