do you think we could put something like this on the front page linking it to red cross or something even a link would be fine

i know you don't like changing things but i think its a good cause
it doesnt have to be huge or anything and doesnt have to be in the way of advertisments
so what do you say mobocop?

I think making donations is a personal choice and not a "feature" of this website. Doing it for one good cause opens the flood gates for all good causes and we would end up with millions of links and banners.
If people want to show there support I think they should follow your example and add it to their own sig or avatar.
Edit: Weve already got a "Sticky" for it anyway

Having a link added, was discussed before (IIRC right after Ivan). I think for now with the sticky and links in the sigs we are showing enough exposure that another link on the main page and/or top of the forum is not needed...

There are a lot of issues to be considered. This site is owned by people, after all, and they would need to be consulted first.

i dont see why it will hurt just to put a little thing up temporaily but ultimetly its probally going to be up to mobocop and who ever else owns the sites decesion
