Today at XtremeResources, our very own MrIcee is still at it in his quest to find the limits of the DFI LP UT NF4 SLI-D motherboard and 3500+ Winnie equipped with 2x256mb G.skill PC4400LE ram..

First up were the final stability testing of the 500Mhz HTT barrier reached last weekend, where Prime95 was run in excess of 16 hours, at which time a 16M SuperPi was successfully run followed by a 32M SuperPi which ran flawlessly.

After finding the top stable asynchronous speed of 500Mhz HTT, he's been on a quest to find the top stable synchronous 1-1 HTT/Memory speed combination with his hardware. After working up thru 340Mhz HTT/Memory speeds which were accomplished easily, the decision was made to make 350MhzHTT 1 to 1 the goal, and it was attained. CPU-Z verified validation was achieved and multiple benches of Sandra, 3DMark '03 and '05, PiFast, Super Pi and Aquamark3 were run to establish it's stability.
There will be further results posted up as Icee has successfully made it to the 370Mhz HTT 1 to 1 plateau which is also CPU-Z verified, and subsequent benches will be upcoming as they are produced successfully, which will be posted in the thread which is linked below.

ADDENDUM: All runs were achieved on air, and 3D runs were done with a pair of nVidia 6600GT's running in SLI mode at their stock speed of 550/1100. The board is as recieved from DFI (Thank you Vivian Lien and OPPAINTER) with no modications. Its running the as shipped 1/25/05 bios and the only deviation was the removal of the nForce4 chipsets heatsink fan for cleanup and an application of Arctic Silver 5.

In the near future MrIcee will be sporting a custom built phase change CPU cooling arrangement, and is hoping to take the little Winchester to the next level when he'll be able to utilize higher multipliers to go with the extraordinary HTT speeds.
