"Today we check in with a look at Gigabyte's 3D1 combo package with includes the K8NXP-SLI motherboard based on nVidia's nForce4 SLI chipset along with the innovative Gigabyte 3D1 graphics card which places two GeForce 6600GT cores onto the single card which is able to produce some brilliant performance in current games."

Reviewd it in 'PC Pro' magazine over here... A novel idea, which gave some very good results...

So will they be selling 3D1 cards so you can SLI the two together or what?

I still think it sucks that their own mobo is the only board that can run the 3D1 because the card looks impressive. confused

i dont think it's possible since it only runs at Gigabyte's own mobo and iirc you can't SLI the 3D1 coz for you to run it you must enable SLI coz it already have two cores

Then IMO, it would be pointless to buy this combo deal.

I'm sure a BIOS update may solve some of the issues with the mobo and maybe a driver update can help with the overclocking both of them.

I just cant see anyone paying $550 for this "combo" when the vid card wont even run in a different mobo, and yet, they package it with an SLI mobo that can run two of the 3D1's because it is technically "SLI" on one vidcard.
