Yeah, I know what you can do since you're finished with yours.

Mod computers for OTHER people: Become a "mod" specialist in your area...turn it into a paying hobby.

Monitor mod? Window in the side maybe? Paint it to match your case?

Just be careful if you do open it up. Touch the wrong parts and there is enough voltage to do serious damage or even kill you. Even when unplugged!

Yes you can discharge the voltage, I'm just not sure about the specifics. I don't think that I would feel safe trying to explain it over a message board anyways. I would feel terrible if someone fried themselves because of my advice. (Thus the original warning/disclaimer) Opening up a power supply carries the same danger. If anyone has a reason to be inside either of these, PLEASE BE CAREFUL and be sure you know EXACTLY what you are doing.

I just re-read your last post here and I didn't know that I could have killed myself when I did my PSU mods....(HOLY SHEEP $HIT BATMAN)
Is it really the same danger inside the monitor or is it worse...honestly
PM and let me know what you think will work and I will let you know what I think will work with discharging the current...
I think between the 2 of us we should be able to come up with somthing that will work...

You can safely discharge the CRT in the monitor. The one thing that you MUST remember is that there is about 20,000 volts in the CRT. Just in case you don't know what a CRT is, a CRT is the picture tube in the monitor. If you want to know how, I can PM you if you want.
