hi guys,


i used to program back in a day, in BASIC with my `ol good ATARI 130 XE

then when going to college I changed my major from programming to accounting.....

but I have realized that I still would like to do some programming that relates to accouting. i want ot be able to combine the two.

could you guys let me know what language would be more beneficial for accounting purposes

I don't know if it really matters. Any language would do. Keep in mind you will want a language that already contains a number of mathematical / scientific functions. BASIC does have the lead advantage here. But. An external library pack would probably serve to take up the slack. So a language that supports libraries is another good idea...
