hello i have an ECS K7AMA with a 1GHz Thunderbird (ARGA), i know i can get 150MHz out of this cpu but with this mobo i cannot change the fsb. Is there a modified BIOS for this mobo that will allow me to change the fsb, please help me, thx a lot!!

Top left of your BIOS screen shows an entry for Frequency/VOltage Control. It should be in there.

thx for trying to help mate but you obviously have a different mobo/BIOS to me because if it was that simple i would of done it by now! this is why i am asking for a modified BIOS (because i have no such options to alter the fsb or even voltages!!)

I actually don't own the board, this is just what I see in the manual (Page 41 shows it - but they don't have a section about it).

Which version of the BIOS are you running? Post the BIOS String if your unsure...

thats the manual for the k7vma, that will be loads different to mine! anyway i think i sorted it, the new BIOS enables the FSB to be changed unlike the current BIOS, gotta test it now, thx for help. :)
