I cannot participate in this discussion as I've never used a Mac before. Anyone got an old one they don't want any more? It would be good for me to get some experience with them, but I just can't justify the expense right now.

I thought of buying a Mac once, but then my alarm went off and thankfully the nightmare was over.

so i guess all of the rich people in the world who are making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in video editing and computer animation are crack heads and morons because mac is the platform of choice in that industry? not saying you have to like it, i know its a mac bashing (bash on) but calling other people stupid because they dont like the same things as you is wrong. after all, i'm not calling any of you stupid
