I've been reading post about SiSoftware Sandra. I neva heard of it till lately, so I would like to know if it can test your memory to see if its bad or not?

I will be downloading it when I get home in the morning(Mon. 5/20/02)!

I got my cheapy 256mb of generic ram and now I believe it could be bad.
I"m getting a bunch of BSOD & other error messages using Win98se & XP Pro.

I should have gotten it from Crucial @ Tolemac :(

Sandra is OK but overrated and sometimes cheats you by giving you a generic statement without testing your hardware.

Once you used it on several computers, you will notice that some statements are always the same. They were taken from the standards commitee specifications and never from your computer.

Freeware is free and free means not worth much. Buyer beware.

Thanks for the link, I'll run the test to check my memory...Do you think it works fairly well?

What brand of RAM was it? I am just wondering, since you said it was generic and not crucial..
