Adding an "r" at the end of "you" would make the sentence incorrect. It is correct to say "You lack proper punctuation" rather than saying "Your lack proper punctuation."

the only way to add an "r" after "You" would be: "You're lacking" which would also improve the grammar IMHO

in order for the second option to work, the sentance needs work, resulting in "Your lack of proper punctuation can be fixed by..."
