ami motherboard - usb doesn't work

Postby cubbyboy57 » Sun May 19, 2002 10:27 am

My USB doesn't work and I am trying to find a manual or maybe drivers that will fix this.
Here is all I find when searching for manufacturer of the motherboard.

The chipsets are labeled VIA VT82C586A and VT82C595

Thanks for any help,

Using bios wizard I found the following:

To be sure it's a PA-2011 have a look onto the Board - the model number should be printed onto it usually between the PCI-Slots .
Maybe you have to look for the Revision number/PCB .
VIA-Chipset so use VIA drivers - 4in1 and USB driver from www.viaarena.com .

Full bios string should be 51-0606-000000-00111111-071595-VP2-PA2011-T99-F.

You can see the PA-2011 marking between the first and second PCI slot.
