it would be cool if there was a quick way to show a sys config on the bb
perhaps using SiSoftware and uploading .. so that mobo, bios, mem, processor, os, .... etc. would be detailed really easily...
and then if it were searchable that would be really wonderful... I would like to send a message for example to someone that has a system like mine... or like something I am considering adding. |

While a link to SiSoft Sandra and/or similar software would be nice, usually the out put is confusing to read/understand. People do not always post the correct info from these programs to be a benifit in mobo ID's for example.
And as far as uploading. You can feel free to obtain a webhost and link the info in your posts. Uploading this info for 50,000+ members would hog up a bunch of server space and not to mention errors could be made that could crash the site. Uploading attatchments here has already been discussed and was deemed not an option.

i agree... that is the point
but people do put the info in the signature.. and should... and 50k x something like 100k of data per member would equal 5 megs of data... ... not a big storage area... |

I agree on the upload. It needs to be something called up within the HTML on the profile screen.
