Folding started

I started folding. Do I need to maintain a connection to the internet while it is running?

while it is running you dont need an internet connection . to see the team stats , connect to the net , right click the small folding icon and select status-team stats . are you on fast or on dialup connection :?:

You will appear on the team results sheet once you have completed a work unit.

That's just one work unit, broken up into steps. At the time of this post, you were almost half done of that particular work unit.

Welcome to the team by the way!

For work units /500, divide your # by 5, for units /2500, divide your # by 25. It's essentially just the number of steps rounded off. Also, welcome to the team, and is the Twin Itanium done a unit yet?

Itanium2

Postby dougsherwood1320 » Thu Nov 06, 2003 11:18 pm

No, I do not have the parts for the dual Itanium yet. Still waiting for Intel to confirm and send them. The system will be pre-configured per their spec. and must be run like that. I guess it will run an advanced beta version of server 2003 for small business. Testing two products at the same time does not seem logical to me but, who am I to complain, it's no cost to me. I am hoping it is not going to be a problem to run folding, which brings me to another point...what happens if the folding is inaccurate or fouled?

then it just sends back, and is deleted. However, that will happen early into the work, if it is to happen.

the wu will cause errors, and become deleted. if it is full of errors, and stays in the "queue", then it will have to be deleted. relax, and when you come to that bridge, then you'll get to cross it!
