Well there wont be so much wiry mess.
Did you have a look at the link I posted about this system. Not to hot for games, but then I dont play many and a bit sluggish with a 1.7 Celeron fitted but they really fly with the 2.8 and 512 DDRram.

iT WILL ALSO KEEP THE GOOD LADY HAPPY WHEN ITS NETWORKED, AS i CAN USE THE LAPTOP INDOORS (shi*) and still talk to the wife, well listen anyway. :lol:

Ah. Makes sense... I remember having a 1.7 celly back in the day (last dec) it was just a teeny bit faster than my 1.2 PIII, with only 256 of pc2100 in. Once i got it to 512 it flew.

And tau - just because you can listen to her while on the laptop in bed doesn't mean you have to. Earplugs and Zoning out work.

True enough. Now - why not give that cpu a lil nudge to 2 ghz - just tap the vcore up to 1.6

My other machine an XP1600 crunches better than this one, mind you thats about all it does at present. Knocks out a Tinker twice as fast as this one.
