K-Meleon Web Browser

Postby BittaBrotha » Thu May 16, 2002 4:37 pm

Has anyone here tried K-Meleon web browser?

K-Meleon is a lite Web browser based on gecko (the mozilla rendering engine). It's fast, has a minimal interface, and it is fully standards-compliant. To make it simple, K-Meleon may be considered the unbloated Mozilla for Windows.

I've been using it and it does seems pretty fast. Although the webpage hasn't been updated in awhile, I like it.

Have you tried it side by side with IE6.0 and see what you missed?

Yep...not as full bloated as IE. In fact I stop using IE after version 4. My default browser is Mozilla.

There are a few other good ones out there aswell. I feel sorry that mozilla never really got the change it deserved.
