I voted 80+ because there was nothing that discounted abandonware/shareware/demos. I have hundreds of those. I think I only have about 10 retail modern games though.

Well seeing as I've been playing games for a little over 15 years, I've got more than I care to count. Even if you count games I only currently have hard copies of now, it still fairly sad.

Heck I could even use a 5 1/4 inch drive to run some of the older stuff...

Anybody remember the old Sierra "Quest" games?
How about the TSR "Gold Box" Role playing games, ala AD&D?

Effika, The Quest series (Space, Kings, Police, Larry) taught me how to type, and now I can do up to 70+ WPM.

Anybody have Jones in the Fast Lane, or Star Control 2?

I loved the Quests from Sierra. My all time favorite was Quest for Glory. (I had the anthology but it's lost. :( ) I also have QFG2 and 3 on floppies. (10 disks for QFG3 and 4 for qfg2 including the 10 5" 1/4) I still have PQ2 on floppies, and i have a copy of Kings quest 4, 7, 8.

I had an old TSR game called Pirates and another one called Prowler. GO CGA graphics go!!! lol good old 4 colors. :) Those date back to my very first pc. An 8088 10MHz CPU (when on turbo. Normally 4.77MHz) with 640K of ram and a 64K ATI EGA Wonder video card. (I still have that card too! too bad I don't have a monitor with a 9pin connector)

I voted 0-19 because, though I have over a thousand games including shareware cds and whatnot, I only play Minesweeper on a regular basis, and once in a while will play counter-strike, red alert 2, starcraft, unreal, or tribes 2.

ok here is a throwback question. Anyone here remember downloading Doom from a bbs when it first came out.

Were you as amazed as I was?

If I remember correctly this was about the time Origin released the first Ultima Underworld game - god I loved that one and its sequel.

I have only a few games since I always end up giving them away when I am done with them.

I wish I could have gotten my hands on some of the Ultima series. I got into the BBS thing really late. I only got a decent system back in 98. P233MMX. (and even then that was a POS pc, with an ISA riser card. No PCI slots whatsoever!. Although it did have an Intel 430HX chipset which I've rarely seen).

I voted the least amount of games. If I were only gifted with flashing eye-hand-keyboard-mouse coordination...I would have more games than the average :P I'm just too lazy reading the instructions and memorizing them. Is 30 too old to be learning kick-ass pc games???
