At the tone, the time is ...?

Postby kaikow » Tue Apr 08, 2003 6:20 am

The forum is telling me the time is 9:15, but the local time for the East Coast of the USA is 05:55.

THere seem to be two issues:

1. THe Offset to UTC is -5 so when it is 05:55 here, the forum should be at 10:55.

2. The wrong number of minutes is used, i.e., 15 instead of 55.

The time in California is 6:28 am, the board says 5:50 am....Looks like they need to adjust for daylight savings.

the daylight savings issue is a known phpbb problem. I am not going to attempt to solve it.

Dont you guys have clocks or a watch?

the problem with the time on the boards is not the real problem it's trying to work out when someone posted last in real time be it your own area or theirs
