p4s8x with 2.53 p4dragon4 no fan switch motherboard controlled smart cooling set on low,145 fsb for 2.755 ghz ,vcore set at 1.525 and ram set at 2t,3t,5t.this is not pushed to the max but i rather be safe than sorry,my next plan is to quiet this machine,my old machine was a dell 4100 with an 866 mhz pIII it only had one fan cpu/case ,my big machine has two power fans,3 case fans ,and a loud cpu fan + the 9700 fan,way to many, and to think i almost had dual intake fans-what was i smoking?i going to feel for any one that plops in a 3.06+ geforce fx combo..hehehe |

A new high for me...
MOBO: Abit KX7-333R
CPU: Athlon XP1700+ Thoroughbred B
Ram: 516Mb PC2100 CAS2.5 Crucial
Cooling: Thermaltake Volcano 7+
BIOS Settings: 166MHz FSB/12.0x multiplier/CAS 2.5, everything else on fastest settings.
Can't beat a 530MHz increase!! Finally hit the 2.0GHz mark. Benchmarked with BurnIn Pro and 3DMark 2001 SE. Perfectly stable! _________________ The Gift of Healing

I recently helped a friend of mine upgrade his computer from a P2 400 to a celeron 733 through use of a slot key, i have had some experience with them before when i constructed a machine using the Abit BE6 II which sits a celly 600 clocked to 900Mhz
But here is the best i/we have done
MOBO: IWill BD100 +
CPU: Celly 733Mhz FC-PGA/1100Mhz - (Aopen Slot Key set to 1.85Vcore) MU068A01
Ram: 384MB (256/128 PC-133)
Cooling: Pentium III 733 Stock Heatsink
BIOS Settings: CAS set to 3/Multiplyer 11x's/FSB 100Mhz/Average temp of CPU is 25 Degree's Cel (i wish there was more to add for this section but to be honest there really wasnt any settings in the IWill bios at all )
However i do belive that this board will do more as the FSB will go as high as 150Mhz , we tried at 110Mhz FS and that didnt post which tells me that the celly requires more voltage
We will try to extract more speed from the celly at a later date _________________ Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe

Currently, I've got a P4 2A Ghz at 2.4 Ghz - 120 Mhz fsb - 40c temperature - stock cooling - no voltage mods (it's so cool because i have intake fans blowing right over it... Running along with a 512 MB stick of CL2.5 PC2100 DDR. |

I have to add my effort:
Gigabyte 8IHXP w/ P4 2.4 @2.7 (150Mhz FSB)
Samsung 1066MHz RDRam @ 1200Mhz
Leadtek Ti4400 (320/640)
Thermaltake Volcano 7+
I want to push my FSB a little further (hopefully as high as GillianTan's), but I either have to wait for winter, or get some better cooling _________________ "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"

Waddaya mean better cooling?? You have one of the best hetsinks on the market. If the Volcano 7+ doesn't cool it, then there is something else wrong. _________________ The Gift of Healing
