Motherboard monitor

Postby donald » Sun Sep 25, 2005 9:19 am

I downloaded motherboard monitor. What is an acceptable temp for the cpu? It is telling me that it is running at 257F. There is no way its running this much on startup, is there? Also my motherboard didn't come up on the list so I picked the closest. I have the ASROCK P465ig or something like that, the 45 showed up. How can I get my cpu to run cooler? I have 4 case fans ruiing for optimal flow plus my cpu cooler?

MBM 5 is wrong. I went into bios and my cpu temp is 48-55C/120-125F. Why would this be?
