Sorting out MBM readouts

Postby berkmberk1 » Thu Jun 20, 2002 7:03 pm

I'm running a Soyo K7VTA board with a Duron 950. MBM gives me three useable temp readouts. Right now....after 36 minutes uptime and a inside temp of 91f, my readings are 24, 37, 44 (C). I can safely assume the 44 is the CPU (duh!)...the 24 I figure is ambient (?)....but the 37 stumps you figure it to be the chip set or the memory? The Soyo manual isn't any only refers to the fact that there are four sensors.....the other has always read 11C so I discontinued using it.

Normally there are only three sensors. One for the CPU, one for the board itself near the CPU, and one for ambient. The 37*C would be for the one near the CPU more than likely.
