That much i know. You can't over tighten the block without them anyway, after all there is a steel bar that goes between the screw and the spring coil that prevents this. I meant what chip :D

Another setback  My Fatal1ty board will be sent for RMA tomorrow and because I can't another 10 biz days, I paid the $150 security deposit so they can send the board asap. They will refund me with the whole $150 as soon as they get my board.

Oh well...

I have to crazy glue the thing in order to stick.

I'm curious. Have you done this before? I'm having a tough time considering crazy glue a proper heat conductor.

Also, I did a bit of googling Crazy Glue and found out that it's a "cyanoacrylate" adhesive, which supposedly does not have good heat resistance. I wondering if that stuff will burn up when you get your machine going?!

If you do go this route, read the label and make sure it's Methyl Cyanoacrylate, not Ethyl. Methyl's better for metals; Ethyl's for plastics and rubber.

I have the same siks on my board, all I did was clean the ram and then warm the tape with a heat gun to get them to stick, nothing extra added.

Sorry for not updating the thread (thanx for my absence) I will update pictures soon :-|

Here's how my the temps read on this rig with DX9 Real-Time High-Dynamic Range Image-Based Lighting, Folding running and dRO Force running.

I used the fan headers on the mobo to run the intake/outlet fans also added an inline screen filter assembly that I would highly recommend after my DD chipset block got partialy clogged with a darn plumbers tape(check out the buy/sell/trade thread if you want one). Also, I've upgrade to the D-tek Fuzion cpu block.

Stay tuned for my next fanless project :P

Window still cracked. Cracked it when I replaced the burn out led fan.
I'm still waiting for my chance to see a replacement panel on ebay.
