Where to find this psu?

Postby carrfamilynj » Thu Dec 15, 2005 5:59 pm

Or a suitable replacement? Label reads "L & C Technology Inc. SFX Power Supply Model: LC-B200SFX" 200 watts output. Problem is the fan seized up, and I'd like to upgrade the power output anyway. I have a spare 300 watt PSU that won't work with this mobo. The bad psu has a connector directly to the power switch on the front of the tower and not thru the mobo like the 300 watt unit. Any idea what this type is called/where I can find one?

thanks

Looks like the one, thanks! I built this system from parts and the tower is a no-name brand, using it with an ECS K7SOM mobo/Athlon 1800 processor.

Notice in one of the pictures that the PSU easily comes apart and has what looks like a stock fan. If the rest of the PSU is fine -- and a power boost isn't mandatory -- you might be able to just get away with a fan replacement. If it's hardwired, just cut the wires and solder in the new fan (or get itty bitty wire nuts!).
