How To Build A Custom LCD Display For Your Case

Resources, guides, discussions for modding your system.

The LCD from frozen PC will fit in two drive-bay slots, however I'd still need to come up with a frame for it so it looked finishing. I'll have to play around with some drawings.

I'll look into the boards with composite VGA out. Running the cable back into the PC will be a bit of a cludge, so I'll have to think about how to pretty that up as well...

It should not be too much of a problem to solder a piece of coax directly to the video card so no wires are hanging outside the case.

the one that comes out of the drive

I don't think he ever finished building that mod. I'm going to do something quite similar soon I think. I'm feeling creative. You can use those Son PS1 screens which are £30 over here!

I'm open to suggestions, but would need the step-by-step for this recommendation.

As for running the wire back in, this card has composite out:

In this case, can I simply snap it in and use it to drive the one monitor while my 6800GT is driving my desk monitor?

S-video has composite built into it, but I don't know which pins they are.

SCART, S-Video and composite are interchangable btw
