Painting PCI Cards

im painting my crappola temporary vid card and a 56k modem card. i knwo to cover the heatsink on the vid card but what else do i cover on the vid card and modem. and im pretty sure that yellow plastic enamel paint is non conductive but can some1 verify??? thanx

Why... the beauty is there.

Parts are pretty no matter what speed or value.

If you have reactive paint and proper lighting all you need to do is trace the card edges, much more dramatic and safer.

well thanx for the quick reply....(sarcasim at its best) i painted the cards like 5 days ago so yea but thanx anyways.

then why did you ask...

each card has a represantaion..., caps and green and gold pcb are pretty. Dont take a personality out of the system by over doing it

I'm a purist at heart .... I'm sure it will look great, I just enjoy the look of electronics over too much fluff.
The end result is what counts, more so how you feel about it.
Cant wait to see it.

you can also try this mod on your pci cards or video card.

Killer option which was exactly what I was talking about, I hand paint and use stencils for my airbrush but dont recommend it to any one as its so difficult.
This fills that gap very quickly.

Any error on pcb board is hard to erase. Using a brush I have the option of cleaning it with any diluted paint remover.. How would you fix screw ups with these pens though?
Is there an "eraser"..

Definetly a sweet find and needs no extra equipment. TY
(note I have been using tooth picks instead of brushes and works stellar but takes 3 days for one pci board)
