To do this, you'll need aeither a dremel, or a 3" holesaw. Basically, just remove the front panel (by the 6 screws AND clips...), then remove the little temp.display LCD and button cluster - you'll have to mod a 5.25 inch bay to accomodate these later - then you pretty just measure out the loacation ,adn drill away. In canada, a holesaw for metal is $21 about $12 american - and the holesaw for wood/plastic is around $5 canadian.
Finally, when using holesaw, have a firm grip of the drill - it can get away surprisingly easily.

sounds good...the only thing is that there is a indentattion line down the middle...

i wasnt sure how it sould look with the duct and fan.

Also, on one site it says you can cut off the top of a funnel fo a duct.
Does this work?

It should - and if yu really dont want the line to be cut off by the blowhole, just fill this little ditch up with automotive putty (for fixing dents) and paint it like the rest of the case. The blowhole would look okay if it's a black fan, or really cool if it's an LED fan.

You mean the blue-eyed fan? Or one like the Coolmod on the V9. That would wokr fairly well, and it would look coll when you hear your hd spinning, and your fan glows red...
