Well, i just got a crystal orb, and slapped it on... real easy install (and i didn't even freeze the card - just use piece of plastic+screwdriver (flathead)... anyway - does this void my warrenty ( i assue it does) and why did it drop my case temps like 2c?

Did you use thermal tape or thermal adhesive ? I have heatsinks all over my vid card and I'm afraid one will fall off and short something out .

Actually, the plactic push pins on the Crystal Orb fit my card nicely - i slapped it on after a nice dose of thermaltake's goop - and volia - 275/275 - 305/305 (and it's way cooler)

Got any links to any good vid card mod sights , Tulatin . I got an old ATI Rad 7000 with a heatsink , no fan , might like to play around with it and test it .

Mod sites? No - hey I got one of them Radeon 7000s too - cost me $150 in 2000 - is yours dual display, 32 MB. Also - if you wanna play with it OCing, I coul easily get it to 200/200 on stock, problem free. For attaching anew heatsink, use the Artic Silver Thermal Epoxy - just dont screw up - this stuff is permanent. (Or you could aways use the themal tape that comes with the crystal orb)
