Enough Power for this Mod??

Postby USMC Rigger » Sat Feb 15, 2003 12:22 pm

Hey all I have recently moded my case to include a side window and a blow hole for a 120mm fan. I am aready running 4 80mm case fans and I also installed a blue cold cathode light. I am not sure if the 400w power supply is enough for all of it. Here are my computer specs:

Athlon 1900+
MSI K7N2-L NFORCE 2 MOTHERBOARD
CHAINTECH GEFORCE 4 TI 4600
HERCULES GAME THEATER SOUND CARD
WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You should be o.k. with that PSU. Check your voltages to ensure everything is were it should be.

Actually the amount of fans he is using isn't over the top. I am running 7 case fans, not including my video card or cpu cooler. The more the better. Helps keep all the computer components cooler.
