Wow, I can't take credit for this unfortunately, but I just wanted to show you all this.

Never thought about modding my monitor. That looks pretty cool though. He did a good job.

I went as far as adding a 80mm ventilation fan in all of mine, to keep the components cooler. And you guys think CPU's put out heat....

That monitor look very cool.
I don't think I would ever attempt doing something like that.

Have to be very careful, and know what youre doing.
There are extremely high voltages in a monitor, even when its unplugged and turned off. Not for the average modder.

He probably just tied into the power circuits inside the monitor for his power supply. Definitely not something to try yourself unless you absolutely know what you are doing.
