Postby port-error » Tue Nov 26, 2002 1:21 pm

hey, i've seen them on many mod'd computers cause they look real nice and don't damage cds as much. where can i find one to buy? it seems like every dvd/cd rom made today is tray loaded.

Thanks!

Pioneer makes a decent slot load DVD drive. You can't get a slot burner unless you're using a Mac :(

slot burner!

ack yeah! a slot burner would own. I was told that tray loaded rom devices can be the cause of many scratches on cd/dvd's, and that the trayless ones don't cause as much damage? is this one of those urban legends? or fact?
