Howdy all... I'm kinda new to the modding scene but being as I'm an avid gamer and love to overclock everything I can in me computer i was wondering on using different things for cases. I've been given an old bar fridge and was wondering if I could use that or would the condensation build up to much?

it would work...probably....
just get an old atx case and cut out the mobo tray and drive housing so you can mount the components properly.
be aware that it will eat loads of power trying to cool the components. you might get some 2 liter bottles and freeze them to act as cool sinks...
you should most certainly try it with an old junker first...

however...the condensation will only appear if the inside fridge temp and the components temps are greater than 10 degrees or so...

A fridge is designed to cool certain items and then maintain that temperature. It isn't designed to fight an internal heat source. I doubt it would be able to cool very much.

damn.. well at least it was only an idea still... lol.. One of the coolest ideas I've seen is I have a mate who has built his computer in an old microwave and he says everything remains cool enuf in that lol

you could add a de-humidifyer(sp) to fix the condensation

OK - this is an ancient post - but this like looks like how to severely coll a PS (Note heavy wattage requirements):
