You can now create your own Doom 3 benchmarking timed-demo using VIA's VIAVGA D3 Bench. 8)

the viavga_d3_bench benchmark pushes the test systems twice as hard as the default demo. The default demo included in DOOM 3 only runs through single player mode, which isn’t as system intensive as multiplayer, (mainly because the player character and weapon doesn’t cast shadows in single player), which is why I created this benchmarking map. I wanted to design a multiplayer benchmarking environment that was dramatically more detailed with geometry and lighting, to act like a higher hill to climb for high-end systems. Mission accomplished!

Now who want's to make one? :P

doom 3.......yuck.

I would rather use Chronicles of Riddick. I think the engine is much more impressive. For the time it took to make Doom 3, it's laughable.
