just turn it off in your profile. you can also set it when composing a message.

I already turned this off, but it came as a big surprise in the morning before I realized the new feature. It nearly filled my inbox. 8O

I checked the registration and new members it is set to off by default (unless they toggle it when registering) so that should be ok.

I guess the conversion routine did not bother to set it to off.

I actually kind of like it. I usually just delete them and then check the forum. It is a good reminder for me since I am so busy.
