It looks really nice. Do you know where it can be purchased from and how much it costs? I'm ordering parts for my first build this weekend.

Not a bad looking CPU cooler.
I would probably opt for a slightly higher capacity fan, though not one of the noisy screamers.

Looks like a decent quality cooler to replace the OEM coolers that are sold with new CPU's, without spending alot of loot.

Wow, much cheaper than I thought it would be. I won't be doing anything too extreme to my cpu so I may have to check it out. :o

Wow, that's a good price. So where exactly does it rank on the list of Greatest Heatsinks of All Time, Tolemac? :D
I'm seriously considering this one for my new 1700+ Thoroughbred since I don't really have the funds to be spending $40 for a heatsink. (Sure worked out nice for me that you used the same proc in the review!)
By the way, how much of an overclock did you do when testing?

EDIT:
Whoops! Forget that last question, Tolemac. Went over the review again and saw it was OC'd to 2200 speed.

Yup! Had it seriously clocked. 12.0x150FSB and 1.70v. Not one stability problem. Add in CpuIdle, and the temps went down another 5° C. 8)

As far as where does it rank, well IMHO I'd put it right behind the Volcano 9, but for only one reason. If it had an adjustable fan on it, then it would be ahead of the V9 and right behind the Volcano 7+. Guess I'll have to set up a heatsink ranking chart, eh?

Sounds good! Considering how quiet this thing is supposed to be that is not a bad ranking at all.

That actually sounds really good. With all the variety on the market it can be really hard for a first time heatsink buyer to know what to get. I know it certainly took me a while to pick one out the first time. I mean, damn, look at all the stuff they have out these days. All sorts of crazy designs and shapes, copper, aluminum, both copper and aluminum, different fan designs, sizes and mountings... It can be a little overwhelming if you don't know what you're looking for.

Absolutely! I'm in the process of figuring out how to set up a ranking system. When I have it pretty well nailed down, I'll give it to Doc to tweak and see when it can be implemented.
