Notes:
EISA= Extended Industry Standard.. uses regular 16-bit ISA slot, with added 16-bit bus width for true 32-bit bus.
VLB= Video Electronics Standard Architecture Bus.
IEEE 1394 also known as Fire-wire, an optical interface.
MCA= Micro-Channel Architecture.. an intent of IBM to expand a bus interface, unfortunately
it had too many 'dedicated' slot arrangements.
SCSI= Small Computer Serial Interface.
RS-232= Standard Serial Port, maximum speed 115.2 Kb/s
RS-232 HS= Higher-speed Standard Serial Port, maximum speed 230.4 Kb/s
USB= Universal Serial bus.
Mb/s= Mega-bits per second.
MB/s= Mega-bytes per second.
