i just bought a ATI X1900XT and would like to know which overclocking tools are best for overclocking. i dont want to overclock that far with my card, just to X1950XTX levels.

I don't think that you can overclock your x1900xt to the x1950xtx speeds....DDR4 runs much fast then gddr3, so it would be really hard. I honestly don't see the point to overclocking an extremly high end card that much. Yeah, you will see slightly better performance, but not a ton.

I am on the same page with you. I think OCing that graphics card is kind of out of place. First off you arn't going to achieve 1950xtx levels with that card. The DDR4 will sail past it. If I were you I would leave it stock unless you can find a game that you can't run on high.

Check out this link on how to OC. ATI video cards are great for overclocking. Espically te older 9800 Pro series to 9800 XT's

No matter what you do u will want to upgrade the cooling fan on the card.
