Not too hard, just have to be careful, no it can't be touched by the bios yet, unless ASUS allows for chipset voltage adjustment, and you're likely running 400 - whenever i tried 333, the system just locked on me at boot. Right now i'm on an Albatron K8SLI (look for review VERY soon here ;)), with my HTT bus @ 300, Ram at 5:4 and CPU multi @ 8 (stupid lack of half multipliers)

hmm well i selected 333 in the bios, set the htt at 300, and multiplyer at 9.5x. cpuz says im running at 2702.8mhz, and my rams running at 245.7mhz. the 'fsb:dram' thing says cpu/11.

so am i running it at 5:4 ratio? i havent checked the stability of it so im not gna post a screen shot of superpi yet

ps what bios revision are/where you running on the asus? i recently upgraded to 1011 and it really helps with overclcking

hmm, that multiplier is inaccurate, it should be be at 2.85GHz not 2.7 - are you running a 9x multi, and yes you have it at 5:4.

$%^!@# soz my bad, yea its running at 9x multiplier.

i got a question, im running a asus a8n sli dlx, amd64 3200 venice, corsiar cmxp512-3200xl(x2) running at 300htt x 9 @ 1.55v, memory at 245mhz with 2.5 3 3 11 timings. i dunno the stability with this, but any higher and the computer cant run superpi. my question is, wat is the limiting factor. is it that the htt cant go over 300 at all, or ram isnt good enough, or cpu has reached its highest clock, or anyhing else?

soz if im unclear

Could be any number of things. First, if you want to test if it's your CPU, back down to 270 HTT, and boost the multiplier up to 10, checking to see if it craps after that - if it doesnt, then it may be ram. Drop to 3-4-4 to see if it does anything, or boost voltage. IF it's HTT, back the ram to 266, and the CPU multi to 7 or 8 and move the HTT up to see if it dies.

Beginning mass initial table update.

Argh! I rebuilt the table for one time lol.

The ram is actually "value" ram. i am not sure if I have 1T or 2T timings set.

edit: I checked, 1T timings

I'll update mine as well. Same specs except for my watercooling.
