EvilOnE - get that RAS to CAS latency down, and run in realtime, you should be able to JUST make it under 30s.

2 questions... wat you mean run in realtime?
and for thouse of you out there with a asus a8n sli, how do you set the cpu/ram ratios? i got the 1011 bios.

thanks for ya time
to build or not to build,
that is the question?

Run in realtime = open up the task manager, go under proccesses, right click superpi.exe, and select realtime from the priority menu.

As to setting CPU/RAM ratios on the A8N-SLI, go under CPU Configuration in the advanced menu, and your ratios will be under DRAM Configuration, with the heading Memclock Index Value (as seen here). Now, bear in mind that i NEVER could get DDR333 to work, so if you want to use that ratio, you're going to have to set it to DDR266, then up it with A64 Tweaker in windows. As to respective ratios, DDR333 is 5:4, DDR266 is 3:2 and DDR200 is 2:1

Finally, if you're solder savvy (or confident, or can have it done by another) there's a few voltmods you can do to the board to improve performance. THe general consensus on these motherboards is that the HTT WILL NOT break the 300MHz mark - a voltmod near the chipset fixes that, and likewise there's a RAM voltmod to boost and stabilize ram voltages. I did the chipset one, but i think i killed the mobo by making the new sink (zalmy passive) rock and chip the chipset. IF you want the guides for the V-mods, i can PM them to you
