Doc, I read all the stuff on lostcircuits.com about tricking out this GPU. My question is could I use the Koolance water cooled GPU cooler in place of the homemade copper cooler that they used? If not, where exactly does that go and how much can it help?

You should be able to use the Koolance GPU cooler, but you'll have to use some Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive, as I don't believe that video card has the appropriate holes to attach the heatsink like on an nVidia card.

Well it doesn't get that hot in the first place, unless you do something like this: http://www.xbitlabs.com/video/radeon8500-overclocking/
