Stupid Dell

Postby wolverineman85 » Tue Jul 09, 2002 10:16 pm

Since I cant seem to edit my FSB from my BIOS (Dell messed w/ it so that you couldnt...damn them... ) are there any programs that I could do it from? Or is there any way that I could unlock it so that I could mess around with the settings?

CPU: Intel P3 1Ghz
Motherboard: D820LP
Bios string is 51-2300-000000-00101111-030199-

Someone suggested messing with the jumpers, but i would like to take an easier path. Thanx.

I had a dell once, they removed ALL the jumpers. I don't think any of their motherboards have jumpers and, of course, Most of the Bios is limited.
I've heard of programs to do that, I just forgot what/where they are.

With that particular mobo, you will not be able to do much of anything. So much for Dell being upgradeable.
