Load Stress

Postby Noober » Sat Jun 22, 2002 7:28 pm

What can I run in order to load stress my overclock. As of right now all I do is surf and play hours of jedi outcast . I need to run something to test the temp of the cpu under load. Don't know if jedi outcast stresses the cpu or not but my temps go from 39c idle to 47c while playing jedi outcast. Any info would be appreciated.

Jedi does a pretty good job, but not as much as Medal of Honor:Allied Assault, or even Return to castle wolfenstein. Bump up all graphics and view distances to a higher level, and you'll put a little more heat into you CPU.

You can also download burn in/stress tests software. If I recall correctly, SiSoft Sandra has a burn in wizard which you can run for hours.

Thanks Johnny, I did have all the specs bumped up on Jedi, I'm getting MOH soon :D So I guess my little p4 doing pretty good. I going to get that burn in wizard from Sisoft Sandra to see what happens.
