Here's my latest...
MOBO: EPoX 8K9A2+
CPU: Athlon XP1700+ ThoroughbredB
Ram: 512Mb PC2100 CAS2.5 Crucial
Cooling: Thermaltake Aquarius II water cooling kit
BIOS Settings: 140MHz FSB/15x multiplier/CAS 2.5, 1.75v, everything else on fastest settings.
I've had it running for a week now as an XP2600+ (2.11GHz). 638MHz increase with no stability problems, and the highest temp I've seen is 43°C while playing Freelancer and Neverwinter. I absolutely love this CPU!!

Asus A7N8X and Athon XP2500 Barton.
I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe and Athon XP2500 Barton with a Themaltake cpu fan. What do you think I could get with this set up?
Anyone that has OC this setup, please show me some specs and what you did.
I WANT TO CRANK THIS THING!!!!
In my other system I have an Abit K7V333 and an Athon XP 2000. I haven't had a chance to OC this one yet, but I got some good starting points from Tolemac. I'll just have to see if mine can do what you got yours to do.

Success!!!
Thanks to everyone here's advice, I went home and tried to OC my machine.
I started with an XP2500, showing 1667ghz. CPU freq. set at 166 and multiplier at 11. I cranked up the multiplier to 12.5, which is max on my MB, left the freq. the same and viola.....XP2800 showing 2080ghz! A jump of 300ghz with 1 setting!!!!!! Not 6-700ghz jump like some have reached, but I am very happy.
I was posting 3DMark scores of around 8900-9100, which isn't bad at all. Now....I have achieved scores of 9902 and 9927. Awesome!
Everything is running so smooth, like it was meant to be set that way. Perfect stability while playing some intense battles on Unreal 2003.
No heat problems....no glitches....nothing but more power!
I know that when I get my new MSI Ti4800SE, I will be scoring well over 10,000. Yeah baby! Show me the numbers!!!!!

I don't know if this qualifies...as I am using a windows-based O/C util at present...until I go the permanent step and adjust via BIOS, but for now I am running my 2.80 P4 @ 3.06 with no ill effects. I will be installing a larger HS/F combo very soon, then will take the BIOS step and see how high I can go.

CPU: t-bred -B 1700+ (JIUHB)
Mobo: Abit NF7-S
Currently running at 133*16.5 (2.195ghz), an increase of about 735mhz.
Kinda limited by the volc9 getting a bit hot, and my ram being crap. It has been up to 2.4, but got so hot (nearing 60 idle) that I got freaked and turned it down. My friend has the same rig, only with better cooling and and ram and pulls 2.46ghz (205x12), he's still on air cooling tho!
Bring on watercooling

i was using a tbred-a 2200+ and i could only get 2.0Ghz out of it. then i heard all you guys talking about 1700+ tbred b, so i went out and got one.
cpu= xp 1700+ tbred (jiuhb)
ram= samsung pc2700 cas 2 all other settings on lowest
cpu runs at [email protected] 1.85v [email protected] 150 [email protected] 15x
[email protected] [email protected] (have my side open a little for better air, still hit 34C case temp sometimes) on highest fan setting.
thanks to Tolemac for volcano 7+ recomendation; this cooler is nice!
