Award BIOS
Before:
PIII 550 MHZ
PC100/33
multiplier: 5.5
After:
PIII 1.06 GHZ
PC133/44
multiplier: 8.0 *Make that 9.5. Same speed though.
Now, I'm not comftorable with it that high, so it's at 816 (ish) MHZ

While that may be a nice result, AmEv, how stable is the system?
The PCI bus is already at max, 33 Mhz.. so upping its bus speed may cause data errors. And if there is an ISA bus, that also has a limit. Same if there is an AGP video slot.. 66 Mhz. The CPU has internal cache memory, which is more affected by higher speeds than the core itself. The main memory in the system also must be capable of accurate paging at higher speeds. If using PC133 memory, you may have good results at that speed.. but PC100 would stumble all over itself!

My highest overclock is pretty weak but I feel that is was good for me.
Specs
ASUS Striker II Extreme 790i Ultra SLI Mobo
2x ASUS ENGTS450 Direct CU GPU's (stock speeds)
7GB DDR3 RAM 1333MHz
Socket 775 Pentium Dual core E6500 2.93 GHz (overclocked 3.52GHz)
2x SATA II HDD's (1x 160GB Caviar Blue, 1x 250 GB Caviar Blue)
PCIeX1 Supreme FX sound card
2x DVD Burner drives
Cooler Master HAF 932 Case
23" ASUS display
Aero Cool 700 Watt PSU E-85
5.1 Logitec speakers
And 1 old school Floppy Disc Drive (I know very old school but I felt like puiting it in just for the sake of it)
I now have a Q8400 instead of an E6500 so now i notice less lag in games but I haven't experimented in overclocking it yet I'll post later when I start overclocking it but I might need some assistance and some tips on overclocking it.
