 Post subject: A couple of things

First, there is a story going around about a newly discovered hole in the McAfee VirusScan software. I don't know if McAfee will post on this in their forums or not.

Second, The latest pair of patches for Windows 98, 98SE and ME are creating problems. My friends and family reporting problems with them. The fix: Uninstall them.

Third, as for security, change the locks...

Well, could you PM me about the McAfee problem and I'll check on it.

Most if not all of my win98 systems are running OK with the latest patches. I keep them spyware-free.

It is always a good idea to change the locks. It is also a good idea to use more than one lock...
