Sysupd.dll? Can't do anything?

Postby Snowfire » Sat Feb 12, 2005 2:53 pm

I have AVG 7.0 (free edition) installed on a clients PC and I've gotten rid of all the spyware, adware, and viruses that I could, which is actually almost all of them. One thing that I can't fix is that AVG keeps bringing up a window saying that there is a virus detected (a "Trojan horse Downloader.Small.18.T") and I have selected all possible options ( "Heal, Delete File, Move to Virus Vault") and restart each time, yet it keeps coming up! I've been working on this for 3 hours now!! Any ideas?

dll files can't be initiated by themselves. It requires a program to call it. Boot to safe mode and see if you can delete it that way
